Spectra Engineers Limited with the funding of Asian Development Bank is currently working on the SASEC Road Connectivity Project WP:01. The project is for the Roads and Highways Department of the Government of Bangladesh. It involves the improvement of road from Vogra Bazaar Intersection to Kaliakoir Bypass Intersection. The chainage is Km 0+000 to km 18+900 and will improve the road from 2-Lane to 4-Lane including structures.
The project is planned to aid the government of Bangladesh in broadening the mentioned intersections to four lanes. This will also improve the road sector's and land port operations' capabilities. Additionally, it will help not just the national economy, but also allow for subregional collaboration and increased trade.

The Chattogram City Outer Ring Road is an ongoing project of the Spectra Engineers Limited funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The project involves construction of the road and the surrounding fence.
The road is 17km in length and connects Kam Dam from Patenga beach to Faujdarhat on the shores of Karnaphuli. Making use of highly mechanized machines, SEL has installed the fence to restrict seawater from hitting the dam straightaway. Additionally, the road has been opened to limited traffic. In current times, the road is used by freight trucks, lorries, Chattogram port covered vans, and individual vehicles commuting to the airport.

The construction of a road from Daudkandi Toll Plaza to Kutumbapur under the 4–Laning of Dhaka-Chittagong Highway Project is a notable, lucrative project of Spectra Group. Using a comprehensive range of exceptionally functional equipment, the company has performed the entire construction work.
The works that were included in the contract were the pristine construction of road embankment, pavement, hard shoulder, bridges and culverts, bituminous pavement and more. Moreover, Spectra Group has also supported in maintenance and reconstruction activities including profile of existing 2-lane pavement, introducing median and divider, Asphalt concrete overlay, road safety and ancillary works. The project valued at US$57.9 million was completed within a timeframe of 6 years, from January 2010 to June 2016.

Spectra Engineers Limited is at present engaged in the construction of the Cross Border Road Network Improvement Project for the Government of Bangladesh. The project is being executed by the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) under the Ministry of Road Transport (MORTB) and Bridges, with funding from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The entire project has been broken down into three sections in which Section C encompasses the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Road. Under this package C, on AH41 (Chittagong-Bazar Cox's Road), four small-to-medium-sized bridges, as well as approach roads, are being rebuilt with state-of-the-art technology and methods.

The Western Bangladesh Bridge improvement project WP-065 is an ongoing project of the Spectra Engineers Limited which is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The project is aimed to achieve the following goals: promote secure, robust, stable and streamlined transportation for people and and for goods, speed up the transportation, provide wide and new bridges for road vehicles to lower road user costs, minimize poverty by producing new jobs during construction and later through the establishment of industries and finally strengthen the national economy by constructing a route leading to an economic zone.
The Origin of Spectra Group can be traced back to 1981, when Engr Khan Md Aftabuddin formed a sole proprietorship called Reza Construction. Eventually in 1989, the Proprietorship was Incorporated as a Limited Liability Company, then known as Reza Construction Ltd. Eventually in 2011, the company was officially renamed as Spectra Engineers Ltd, which will Always Remain as the Flagship Parent Company of Spectra Group.

The Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina initiated the opening of Radisson Blu Bay View in Chittagong, the port’s opulent international hotel. The entire civil work of the hotel has been done by Spectra Engineers Limited (SEL) and completed within the allocated time. Alongside the PM, General Iqbal Karim Bhuia, the Chief of Army Staff, was also present at the occasion with around 1,000 other guests including business leaders and foreign delegates attended the inauguration ceremony which took place at the ballroom of the hotel.
The 22 storey hotel, which started its operation in mid-April of 2015, facilitates 241 contemporary rooms and suites, 2,100 square metres of ballroom and meeting space, a captivating venue for social events, business meetings, seminars, weddings and conventions. The hotel will be the second Radisson in Bangladesh to open, located near MA Aziz Stadium, the business hub in Chittagong.

Honorable Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Bangabandhu Multipurpose Complex at Chittagong. The complex houses modern facility features like 48 classrooms, 30 lecture galleries, a model room, a simulator room, a laboratory, a library, numerous office rooms, a VVIP suite, a banquet hall, three plazas, parking, 16 steps, and seven elevators.
The building has been beautifully constructed with modern elements, accommodating maximum benefits. Following the complex's inauguration, Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina toured the various sections of the complex and praised the complex's architectural splendour.

The contract signing for the Chittagong City Outer Ring Road Project took place at Palm View restaurant of the city. The contract signing was attended by the Honorable Minister for Housing and Public Works Engr. Mosharrof Hossain and Chairman CDA. Additionally, Engr. Khan Md. Aftabuddin, Chairman of Spectra Group and Engr. Khalid Hussain Khan, Senior Vice Chairman of the Group was also present at the occasion.
The project will involve the construction of a15.2-kilometre road on the existing coastal embankment to connect Patenga to the city's Sagorika Industrial Area. The main objective to build the road would be to reinforce the coastal embankment and elevate it from 23-24 feet to 33-34 feet.
